Examples of abnormal function = crooked teeth

Why do teeth Relapse?

  • If we move the teeth or change the shape and size of the jaw then we need to change the muscle function to match.
  • If we fail to change the function then the muscles will put the teeth and jaws back towards where they started.
  • This process is called relapse.
